This September, the Fort Worth Police Department’s Human Trafficking Unit will host a two-day Lunch & Learn event focused on Trauma-Informed Interviewing — an essential approach to improving care and communication with survivors of human trafficking. The event will bring together law enforcement officers, service providers, and community partners for two days of learning, discussion, and collaboration. Attendees will explore key trauma-informed principles and how to apply them in real-world interviews and survivor interactions.
We are honored to have been invited to serve lunch during both days of this important event — providing not just meals, but a warm and welcoming space for connection and reflection among attendees.
This event reflects FWPD’s ongoing commitment to advancing compassionate, effective responses to human trafficking through partnership, education, and care.
